With the Channel Islands, Santa Barbara Channel, coastal mountain ranges, the backcountry of the Los Padres National Forest, and the Carrizo Plain National Monument, we are fortunate to live in one of the most biodiverse regions in California. There's still incredible flora and fauna in these habitats, some of the rarest and most endangered in the state. Chuck Graham takes us on a visual journey into some of these unique biomes and the creatures that live there. These are places that deserve protection, because wild places are not wild unless wildlife exists.
